5 CHALLENGES FOR BETTER HEALTH
Making small changes in our diets can bring us better health. I am going to share with you 5 simple challenges for better health. These are not guaranteed but if you are faithful to them you will notice a difference. Making simple changes can and will help us feel better in our health.

On to the 5 challenges…
First of all I want you to give yourself some GRACE.
This is key. We will fail, we will fall of the wagon & we will eat off plan. Give yourself some grace. Forgive yourself and move on.
Next, You need to make healthy food choices.
No matter which diet plan you are following , you can make healthy choices. It will help your body and it will make you feel better. Choose right now to eat healthy and make healthy choices. In the long run you feel so much better. You will thank yourself for it.
Third, you should be drinking plenty of water.
Our bodies need water. Challenge yourself to drink a glass first thing in the morning. Keep a bottle of water ready to take out the door with you. Have a glass before you eat. Figure out how much your body needs, then drink it. You will notice a difference as you keep up with your water. Trust me, dink your water!!!
Fourth, make a new recipe.
This one is mostly for those following Trim Healthy Mama. If the diet plan you follow has a cookbook, look through it and find a new recipe to make. With Trim Healthy Mama, there I a new cookbook coming out in September, so many are cooking through the cookbook. It has brought new favorites for sure, to home. I have enjoyed making new recipes and loving them. I challenge you to go and find a new recipe. Search the internet or Pinterest and challenge yourself with something new.
Lastly, I challenge you to replace one meal a day with a shake.
However you make your shakes this will help out in your healthy weight loss journey. Chose a shake and decide which meal you would like to replace it for. Breakfast and Lunch are the best choices for this one. Once again, search Pinterest and find a new recipe or make an old favorite. Make sure you are adding enough protein in the shake. If you use a protein powder or cottage cheese as your protein, make sure you add it. Here is my favorite protein powder.
There are no guarantees that these 5 challenges will help you in your journey to better health, but there is no harm is trying. Take baby steps if you need to and start a food journal if you need more motivation. By starting a food journal it is a great help to find out what you may be failing at with your eating habits. Be honest in it and write down everything you put in your mouth. You can go big and use a beautiful planner with stickers or just use a simple notebook. Currently, I use a simple notebook.
Keep up the good work. Don’t give up on your journey to better health. Stay strong. Your family and friends are watching you, they see your hard work. It will pay off, just you wait and see. Work on to better health. You are worth it!!!
